As your Harold Wood H.R.A representatives, we are delighted that Havering council has listened to the concerns of the Harold Wood residents and rejected the planning application to build on the Tesco’s Gallows corner car park site.
Along with most of our residents, we were very concerned about the impact this application would have on our residents’ lives. Had it been approved it would have increased pollution and traffic congestion whilst adding further strain to the local infrastructure.
We were really pleased to see residents standing up for their communities and spaces and the Havering’s Residents’ Associations (H.R.A) fully support the objections.
We will continue to monitor all major planning applications in Harold Wood and will support our residents in protecting our community.
We will continue to keep you updated and remember we are here working for you, the residents of Harold Wood.
